fun in the sun...

you didn't think we would make it the whoooole week without finding some internet access, did you? well, we had kinda hoped, but this is good too. Always fun to communicate with you guys. we are having a jolly good time...lots of arroz y habichuelas, some platanos, an amazing night tour of the bioluminescent bay that was just incredible (really, it was a lot like swimming in the stars!) after we kayaked out to the middle of the bay. there are lots of little lizards running around...we are keeping several in our suitcase to bring home as pets. well, maybe not. we have rented this little run-down jeep which is just perfect for squeezing off to the side when we encounter another vehicle on the narrow roads or to find the little beaches which are out of the way, off of the dirt/rocky road. ben is an absolutely fabulous driver in these conditions...must be from all his years of playing his racing video games. Anyway...all this is to say that we think you all would love this place and should check out visiting. we would happily come with you again. ;)
