I have finally decided to take the ASSETS class. It is a 12 week program that 'guides participants through the practical application of business concepts' started by MEDA. It is basically for new entrepreneurs that are going to start their own business. Well, I considered it 1.5yrs ago but wasn't sure I was really gonna have my own business. Then, the next time it was offered I had already started my business and decided I already knew a lot of the stuff they were gonna teach. I had also taken accounting, etc in college. Well, now I figure that it is time to keep working on my business because it is no longer in the trial stages. Time to get my rear in gear. By taking this class it will get me talking to others who are starting businesses. And also there are some good teachers that are from the community that are great resources. It will also be a great networking opportunity.
I have also considered joining the Kiwanis club or others to do further networking. I have also heard of are BNI. One lady said that she earned her membership fees back in a month with all the clients that came out of it.

Sounds like a move forward, admitting that you could learn more is always wisdom. In some ways I wish I had pursued a Master's Degree in something. Even If I know-it-all", I can't get paid for it?
I it was a choice I made for family at the time.
God be with you on your journey. Mom
