You can post photos various different ways. See this Blogger.com help link for more.
Flickr.com is a really cool photo sharing site that... also allows you to post to your blog. Of course anyone can see the photos you post, so don't be picking your nose. You can see my Flickr test here.
Video
The easist way to add video to a blog is (not sure if Mac compatible) is to use myzine.org. If you want the video to play from within the blog, you need to use this site. http://www.myzine.org/
OR
You can upload the file to a site like http://www.putfile.com or
http://briefcase.yahoo.com and then post a link to it in the blog using HTML (find someone that knows it) or this way in Blogger.com Help
